from what i can tell, the concept is pretty good. however, you may want to note that his hand is severely disproportionate (as in its really messed up) in comparrison to the rest of his body. he has the hands of a child. i suggest reference is in order, and if that doesnt work, try gridding to get the right proportion. also, the light from the setting sun should be spread over the horizon, not just radiating out of one point (sunsets hardly ever look like that). keep posting, i look forward to seeing more from you :D

why not just have both arms/ hands holding the wing? The hand just distracts imho. And maybe add some smoke or bubbles where the tail of the plane is sinking.
