Well I'm no pro but I think it depends on the job you take. It can be in a game company or a advertising company, anything possible.

But the main priority of any job (concept art) is to create individuals, objects, vehicles (the full package).
Basically draw the things your employer wants you to. It can be a unique character for his game or it can be a ad with some weird logo. Thats all about it if I'm not wrong... wait for the pros if I have forgotten anything.
