I decided to finally try Painter and tested out my "skills" on a Joan d'arc sketch that Prometheus|ANJ did a while ago. Not ever using painter, I found it REALLY easy to use and I think I did a pretty good job for my first time with the program... I NEED to practice lots more.. I LOVE PAINTER 7!!!

Tell me what you think and what I should try and work on.

And Prometheus I hope you don't mind me painting your sketch... I gave you credit in the pic :)

I'm not going to comment on using Prometheus' pic, doubt he minds at all but maybe you should've asked first . . .

but I really like what you're doing in Painter, I've been sticking with Photoshop but your piece makes me want to cross over. Nice work, I think you're on to something, post something of your own next!

The sketch itself is very nice, I hope the artist reads that. Though, I do wish I could figure out how to draw the eyes in that certian way, non-anime. X.x The coloring is great. You really cleaned up the sketch but you left in just enough detail! It's very nice. The highlights on the armour really help this piece stand out. And I'd like to mention the little red on her nose, it is very cute! :p
