1. get loomis or any great artists book about anatomy, there is alot of links and stuff on the forum
2. get some paper and a pen... go somewhere you can concentrate, draw your own hand, alot !
3. try to mimic the shadows that exists on your hand... try to see all the different levels of shadows and highlights... like the darkest part, like in a fold, should be the darkest spot in your picture..
4. draw draw draw
5. build the hand using 3d-shapes in your head.... like a finger is a tube, how do you draw a tube? well, google one or open up a 3d program :P and try to draw it... connecting all the parts and then start to give the piece some 'human' thingsm like nails, folds, skin :P
6. there is something called foreshortening (överlappande linjer) like when you point your finger towards your eye it will have alot of foreshortening, search for tips on that too
7. there is alot of usefull tips and tutorial on this forum... search or surf around.
8. i'm just too lazy to make tutorials or find the urls im talking about and for that i am sorry. :P
have fun :D
cheers

Every piece you draw, Linus is showing some improvement! And, that is the secret to getting good, to keep drawing...
There is a thing called the "100 drawing Project," and is based upon the old saying that if you draw something 100 times, it will be yours forevermore. Simply by drawing the same thing over, and over, and over again, you will become VERY familiar with what you see, and how you draw it.
I think "100 Hands by Linus" is a good Project to help your drawing. If you post 1 new hand drawing every day, yes, it will be 3 months (at least) before you are done, but OH, how much better you will be by the 100th hand!
2 down, 98 more to go!
Slow down at the very beginning, and try to make that basic outline show all the little bends as your fingers get wider at the knuckles, or as your thumb curves at the tip. Don't hurry to draw the lines for the knuckles. Carefully observe your hand, and those lines and folds, and try to record what you see.
You are off to a good start, and your drawing is already improving from your efforts. Keep it up!
EDIT Here (http://www.michaelmhensley.com/page0142.htm) are a couple excellent hand studies by an artist. Look at them, and observe the details. Then try to keep them in mind, as you look at your own hand and draw it.
HERE (http://www.anticz.com/handtut.htm) is a good Hand Drawing Tutorial. You might try that also as part of your "100 hands"...[/Edit]

I´ve started a hand today, i think i´m starting to get the hang of hands. It´s just so hard, and it takes time, but i´ve got the best reference ( My own hand )

Got the hand ready today, i mimiced the shadows and folds in my skin. The tumbs feel allright, but the fingers seems a bit fat-- Anyways here it goes
I couldent make the finger to the left of the little finger, it had to be an aputation. :dur:

Lots of your 'pencil' strokes are very 'hairy'. Since you do these digital ... make a new layer and draw the image again, with a nice fluid line, have some lineweight variation (thinner & thicker lines or lines going from thick to thin & vice versa ... thicker lines for shadow sides, nearer objects, ...).
This is also an excellent stage to do some minor corrections (like making that finger a bit thinner ... have bone structure come out a bit better ... ) ... you could even flip the image horizontally (mirror) to make sure nothing is skewed !
On the hands ... do some study of the skeleton ... for instance the fingers get slightly thicker at their joints (you can clearly feel that as well).
Good work with the notes ... first step in improving is noticing your flaws and searching for knowledge you don't have yet ! :)
Keep 'em coming, you're well on your way !
