Well, I finally did it. :D Here it is, my second steaming pile of sketches.
I'm now a Senior in highschool, and I hope you can see improvements from my last sketchbook. I also wanna broaden my horizons, but let me say this, I do mostly cartoon-ish stuff. It's what makes me happy! >:D I can't help it! :\

It’s female Kenshin! Very nice, like the anima style. Be careful with body proportions though, the arms of your characters are too short, and the hands are too small on your guys.
Also the young boy in the last pic looks a little too small. Probably ‘cause the heads in anime characters appear a lot bigger than the body, and the boy’s head seems to be quite small. You'll get the hang of it through observation.

I like the first one the most! The color is nice as well as the line quality. I also enjoy it the most because it seems to be drawn in a more original style than the manga stuff. The rest are cool though. I'd like to see more like that first one up here. Post some more!

tempist-Thanks for dropping by! I saw your sketchbook and it's absolutely amazing. As for the hands being to small, that's kind of a curse of mine..my hands are very very small, even for a girl, so most of the people I draw have little hands! :$ Even my bros have small hands..what can ya do? Artistic Schmidt-Thanks for commenting! And in all honesty, the first pic was drawn from a manga pic! :x Ain't that wild? I do that sometimes to practice stances that are hard to get..normal positions are easy, whats hard is a good focused stance. Thankyou again for stopping by :teeth:

Wow, Sio! Looks like you got a lot of potential. My best advice is to keep drawing and do more studying on anatomy and proportion. Try to steer away from anime style. I know you hate to hear that, and I do to. That is always the first thing people say to me. >:{ Also, practice drawing for still life. Anyways To help you learn anatomy go check out that book called Human Anatomy for the Artist, that is if you are mature enough an don't have an access to a nude model. :bashful: You can also go here.
