New to boards, sharing pics

Hi everyone! :) I'm new here, obviously. ^^ I found CA through a Google search and thought it was just perfect for what I was looking for. I'm a high school photographer. I'll be going into 11th grade in September, and I hope to get into University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Please let me know what you think of my work, comments and critque are extremely apperciated!

Let me be the first to say...
welcome!
I am no pro so take my thoughts as a grain of sand...
First, I really like your first picture. Very nice. It definately expresses the feeling of the sea. It would be nice to see other angles taken on it though.
Second, in my opinion, the boat would be better served in color, just because trees and what not in the background become confusing in black and white. If the boat were out at see or had a less busy background, then it would work very well in black and white.
Thirdly, I really like the footprints being washed away by waves. Nice concept.

I like the two gutair ones. imo, it would be nice to be able to see more of the hand, because you can just see the fingers and it would be nice to see more of the hand. but thats just my opinion. nice stuff again.
