need Illustrator just to export..

i havent got a copy of Adobe Illustrator, only Painter, but i have some vector work that id like to import into Flash MX via an Illustrator file. the only free downloads i can find do not allow saving or exporting. if i download a trial version, will it be enough for Painter to then recognise the file format and allow such a conversion to take place? the only problem im finding is importing to Flash MX, as it is an unrecognised file format on my PC. make sense?

haha wataya no, the free trial has allowed me to export into Flash, and by converting it to an .fla document it converts all objects into symbols, which means no quality or manoverability is lost. :D what to do when the trial runs out tho.. hehe.
