This is my favorite painting of mine to date. I posted the ink job and really liked the concept...didn't know I'd experience another epiphany while coloring it then get carried away and stay up like 4 hours too late last night. then rush home from work today to finish it.

you bet yer ass you;ll be seeing more stuff from me soon. maybe next time i'll get an image with a more dynamic pose and better hands...always the damn hands.

just some things to look out for though. make sure you pay attention to perspective. for example, the helmet is turning to the left...but it still looks like the character is still looking straight at the viewer. also, he looks like he would be falling backwards. his feet are postitioned in front of him. i'd get some books or a mirror to work with when you are drawing human parts...for example, his fingers look broken.

i like how you are playing with bouncing the light from the fire and the sky on the character.

just my two cents...and we all know how much pennies are worth:p
