Pretty good on the skin tones. His right cheekbone shadow looks kind of weird, though, and his neck seems awful thick.

I want to see all figure first, and than I'll comment. This is just a head of the warrior (It can be anybody else's head). I agree that the neck is very thick, but maybe he's very muscular... I'm waiting for all figure...

Unless he's got trapezius muscles bigger than Mr. Universe, there's no way his neck would be that short and thick. Just isn't good basic anatomy...
You may never see a body attached to this. It may stop at this point as the completion of a practice piece. All the more reason to take the extra few moments for the simple proportional anatomy details that can make a difference. Look at all the anatomy works of the Great Masters. They didn't show the rest of the body for many of the heads and faces they drew...You look at the work as it is presented, not as it may (or may not) exist in the future. Waiting for a possibility shouldn't affect opinions about a work's current presentation.
This piece could've been an good head and neck study with just a bit more attention to the detail of the neck. As it is, it's a decent head study.
