Getting difficult with skin tones. Help welcomed.

Somebody know how to use brush opacity in painter IX for glazes like in PS?

ahh skin tones, my worst enemy. I think your off to a great start with the tones, but i think you have too many dark muted colors mixed in with your pinks. But i could be wrong ;p.

Also i think the arm seems to be swinging more downward than forward. I think the arm should be a little bigger and the ear should be tucked in with the shoulder judging from the kind of punch hes throwing. THeres my 2 cents if it helped any.

You can create a watercolor layer, and use that to create the glazing effect you are seeking.

You need to do something with his left ear. It is either falling off of his head, or it is attached to his lower jawbone. Perhaps drawing more from reference or from life would help you in feature placement... >:D :D :wink: :heart:
