It looks lika an awesome project! I think the inking looks very good. I dont understand Ur coloring technique, but if it works for U, its ok. But the colors looks a little too "cheerful". ;)
Maybe a little darker colors? Maybe a little more outlines too (but this may be color only layer, I dunno). Its a good thing to get lotsa colors go9ing though, too check them against eachother. :)
Keep up the good work :D

Actually, I wouldent say Im good at color, eehh, Im not an ace on anything... But Ive got this pantone library file in photoshop, so I can pick Pantones only (even if theyre converted to rgb or cmyk) there almost always very beautiful those colors. As for lighting, well, Ive havent gone their yet myself.
Also, I sometimes see beautiful colors togethr, then I usually write them up on a paper, so I remember them. Also sometimes Im fiddeling around in PSD, and just checking colors against each-other, finds some nice ones, and just saves that file, or screengrabs it. A trick that almost always work is to invert a color and use it aswell. Its then the excact opposite of the original color (dont exactly know the theory here - its on the other side of the color-wheel somehow). And thats usually good.
Sometimes I add a photography in the background, real lo pixeled and blown-up, just to get that first color over everything gritty feel, something to start with. Maybe the equivalent to dirty ones canvas before painting.
Hmmm, how funny, before I wrote this I dident know I knew theese things! :D
BTW - the black-board looks very realistic. :)
Myself, if Im allowed to try to give tips, I woild go for medium to dark grey or green (kinda panzer colors) in the background wall, some beige, some more lighter grey and mayby some blue. The plates in background, maybe old and dirty brownish rust/goo over them, no white showing anymore. The mat, maybe brownish many different colors all together to imitate lotsa dirt and litter. Also, as Andy Warhol said : "Red sells" so always include at least one spot of red. :)
Keep up the good work :D

Johannes - you definetly are welcomed to give tips:D you know i've had art teachers for all 4 years in high school and not one of the them gave a critique as well as you did. well i'll be out for a while but i hope to apply all this information soon thanx
KayCustomz =) a frisbee was an unidentified object to some at one time... i don't believe we have experienced any alien encounters outside mars debris or comets ect. but aliens have to exist considering the vast space in the universe
this is an education based bot it teaches kids how drugs SCREW with there minds, its ment for a drug free contest sorry it wouldn't succeed without some really corny pun

Thanx Good War :D Only happy to give som c&c. Now Im starting to get that this is an assignment or contest for anti-drugs. Iremember I tried one of those too a long time ago. That also explains the coloring of the walls and the blackboard, I figure - this is at school or something?
Im thinking, hmmm, U maybe should think of replacing the leg as a syringe, as it may be a little to obvious. Other than that, its an awesome big project and I salute Ye! ;)

Hi,
Is the green board on the rear supposed to be a black board ? If so I suggest that you make it much more dark like here : black board image (http://www.berkeley.edu/news/media/releases/2002/10/images/blackboard.jpg).
Proportions look a bit strange too. Assuming the guy between the robot's arms is human, the desk (on the left) seems to be too small and the board too low.
Maybe you could try another camera angle, with more perspective, cause it looks a little bit flat for now.
I wish you luck ! I know how hard it is cause I begin myself with colours and drawing, but I hope what I said helps !
See you soon I hope with new updates !

Eeeh, weird story, I wouldŽnt use it as a pick-ip line though...
Ah, colors coming along nicely - dirty and gritty. I like the wall and ice-cream box? Also its funny "Its screws with your head - literally." ;)
Have a nice weekend
