Is this tree on the left a feedlot?
If so, it looks very small...at least the ones i know are larger. If you say the minotaur is huge, than the feedlot's size is ok...but the grass is the prob then :) ...one of the three elements destroys the imagination of the whole thing...
In other respects the minotaur looks good. Nice rendering...except for its left upper leg - it seems too large in comparison to the right one...
Where's its right arm? I mean, i know, that it could be hidden behind his body, but the figure would win much depth if you paint just a little part of the arm in the back...
The background is great...i can feel the range and smell the fresh springtime air...breaaaaaaaathe in.....

Watch out of the smelly minotaur.
I would add his other arm too.

Thanks a lot. :)
The tree is a willow. But I think you are right regarding the size. I wanted to show perspective on minotaur's left leg. It seems that I failed. What I'm really conserned with is composition.
Right now the image is quite boring.
And I don't know how to make it more appealing.

I think that minotuar looks cool...but you could make a more dynamic pose. also, I see the right horn coming out a little bit behind is head. I think it should be more upright, at first glance i thought it was a spike on his nose. and yea, he needs a right arm badly. also, if yer looking to make it more interesting, could i suggest that you add weapons and armor maybe? but thats just my preference...and the way its posed, looks like hes getting ready for battle, so maybe add some kind of oposition to the left??
also the legs look odd to me. they are missing a substantial calf muscle. and the theigh on the left leg seems too long, one more little thing, i would imagine that the hooves should be at least the size of the figure's fist, they appear sorta small.
but after all; minotuars are fictional so their anatomy is completely up to your interpretation.

Clodhopper - I thought about adding an opponent. And I will add probalbly. A barbarian babe with a sword. Regarding the weapons and armor - may be I will add a cudgel in his right arm. But in the game the Minotaur has no weapons so I'm not sure if its acceptable.
OK. Here I added more shadows. I correctd the left leg. And changed the nose. I had to change the Abs a little. Also the background is not so fresh any more.

I know this is not the 3d forum.
But we are talkin about the same minotaur.
So here is the low polygonal 3d version of this minotaur.

try using some dark desaturated redish tones for the shadowed areas of your minataur. And a lil bit of orange. Goes along good with green ;)

Hey Kresh.
Are you reffering to the 3d model or to illustration?
