Hey everyone, I've been roaming the boards here for awhile, so much great stuff... this is my first post, a painting I did a little less than a year ago.

your picture isnt coming up, you need to put the web address of where you uploaded your file to, not just the name of the file.

I think phlem solved the mystery. My concern is that the distance between Mr. Hendrix's head and crotch seems about the same length as his forearm.

Yeah, you both definately got called on the reference thing. It's always best to have your idea first and look for references that help develop your idea. You should thumbnail if your trying to be conceptual. It not, then your creativity lies only in the things you changed from the reference.
The face on this Hendrix is a bit chubby. I would work a little more on the likeness. Also, as mentioned before, the colors are too flat.
