I like the costume of the figure- it's different and I like the color. I'd like to see a different angle though- try experimenting with changing the camera angle or something. perspective is important to bring a drawing to life!

Interesting sketch. It does look flat the way it's staged... I'd like to see the figure moving towards or away from the wall it would give more depth.

great concept, especially the dryad type figure. as everyone else said already, the perspective makes all the difference. something about the back leg seems odd, maybe its his 'sock' thing its level, while his foot is bent?
great work, keep at it!

that is a cool sketch, i has to stop and look at it for longer than most other pics. something about it just grabs my attention, thats an acheivement:chug: but yea, some perspective would help it. and I like the color like it is with only the most prominent objects in color.

thanks alot everyone. this started out with the character just as a sketch but i loved the costume so i put a background. expect more soon.
