I'm sure this is nothing new to you, but it is kind of for me because I'm just getting back into drawing after a long absence. Anyways, today I sat at my computer and decided that I should draw something. I didn't have anything exciting or interesting to draw, but I chose to draw a hallway with a door looking into another room anyways. After a little while I was totally into the drawing even though at the beginning it seemed uninteresting. I had to make myself stop drawing because otherwise I wouldn't get some chores done. Even after I stopped I still had a feeling of bliss for a little while. That's why I find drawing to be addicting.

I wish I could get addicted.. Ive had a major case of artists block lately.. I sit there and try to think of SOMETHING to draw but I jsut cant get any good ideas in my head! Lately ive been doing figure drawings alot, to get my anatomy down, but those get boring after a while and I want to draw soemting a bit more exciting, but cant.. :(

I've been doing my first 'academic' drawing on real paper since YEARS thanks to the Concept Art Forums' Middle Class Curriculum. I was death scared when the shalk touched the dark paper at first but BOY OH BOY it was like breathing for the first time in eons.

DragonGX: pound that block away. Kick it hard. Read the threads jester linked to and find something that would interest you. Remember to have fun !
