Drawings are scanned and colored with the mouse (I don't have a tablet yet). So here's my evolution:
My very first attempt

Whenever I see a title like yours, I steel myself. While your post is not as bad as most like this, I think you'd profit from the same advice. Stay away from coloring things on the computer until you have a better handle on values. Values define shape and sometimes, when a person isn't used to color (like me), the saturation gets in the way of really seeing where a color is on the value scale. If it doesn't make sense when you look at it in gray scale, color won't help. There are certainly folks who break the rules and use color in wonderful ways. These people already know all about values and color and have mastered a lot of skills that you're tackling right now. Draw from life (or at least reference when you can't get life) and bolster your drawing skills, as well. I look forward to your future posts.

I think the advice about coloring here at CA should be modified to "Enjoy coloring on your computer, but don't post it until you have better mastered your drawing skills."
To continually tell members to "stay away from coloring on your computer" is like giving someone a 5 million color box of crayons, and then telling them not to use them! Go! Color away! Just don't post them for "show and tell" if you don't have decent linework included in the piece. Pesmerga admitted to having coloring issues. At that point, bitching about his color work is kinda off the table unless you can give more helpful advice beyond "stay away from coloring," okay?
Pesmerga, did you draw every one of the images you posted here yourself? If so, you have a good start on your development. But, it is considered artistic respect to source site anyone's work that you copy or trace, or color over. I bring this up, because there is a lot of inconsistency to these pieces, and that is not even addressing your coloring issues.
There are two types of drawing, observational and creative. Suggestions to draw more from life is another way of saying your observational drawing skills need work, because your creative drawing is not accurate enough. Your backgrounds are so underdeveloped in comparison to your subjects that it seems that you are tracing or simply coloring other people's drawings. Those that don't give this impression are the first piece, which is so underdeveloped, its hard to judge beyond "work on leg anatomy and perspective," and the "Demon 3," which is developed, but terribly scribbly and indecisive in linework...The kangaroo shows linework much cleaner than any other piece...why is that?
The figures look out of place with their backgrounds, and "Kim's" linework and detail is much cleaner than the "Elf" or "Demon 3." Again, why?
Sorry, but there is just too much differentiation between these pieces to honestly get a grasp of what skills you might possess, drawing wise. Post a work that you have drawn from scratch without tracing. Colored or not. Let's try to get a clear work of what you can do, without the distractions of conflicting styles/influences, okay?

There all mine by the way. And the linearts can all be found on my scrap section at Deviant Art.
The first one was done from my nunchaku thumbnail:

I didn't even knew about layers at that point.
Kangourou was from my animal sketch. Kim and Elf are old drawings I did (last year).

Selthar from a tiny resized thumbnail: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a57/Vulcain/Scraps/Selthar.jpg
Same goes for Rogue (but I had a ref for the pose).
Demon 3 was 100% done with the mouse. took about 1h30min.
Kangourou and Rogue were the only ones that I retraced with the mouse. I kept the original lineart for the rest.

Thank you for the clarification.
Now that I've visited your DA page, I'm more convinced than ever that you really need to work on developing your linework. Your lines are very inconsistent. Some look like very confident strokes, and then they get hesitant and worked over. This is really obvious with your shading and highlights/shadows. Your page of weapons 2 would look worlds better if you could neaten up your strokes and use them better for crosshatch shading.
Your concepts are good, your anatomy is decent, but your linework is lacking.

Thanks for your honesty. You're not the only one who says that. It's all about confidence I guess.
And also for the coloring, I just realized I totaly forget about values. I guess it's back to the grey scale for me.
I'll come back with some new studies. Until then, cheers to CA :yayca:
