Greetings CA. I've been pretty much lurking for the past few weeks and thought it long time over due that I post something. Where better to start than to hide in here and ask for help? :3
The situation? I've been drawing/illustrating for the past few years and recently got tired with my one point perspective, pinup-like, boring poses. I'd been recently commissioned to do a stylized portrait (comic/manga) of a young woman who has a deep love for Japanese comics. Not a problem. I've done portraits and manga styled stuff before... However, when setting the scene it all went TERRIBLY WRONG. :nohope:
I'm attempting to have her sitting in an extreme foreshortened view, sitting with her leg dangling off a circular ledge/balcony. The other would be tucked underneath her. Lastly of the "important" parts - the almost cliché black wings sprouting from her back.
As of right now it's at the sketch and preparing transfer stage. I can't move the image to the final paper for inking and color until I get some of these perspective and anatomy issues worked out. "IT LOOKS SO WRONG IT MAKES ME WANT TO CRY!" *whimper*

I can see problems with both feet, and her arm... I just am not sure how to fix it. Maybe the ledge is completely off as well. I'm not exactly a regular at drawing more "healthy" figured females either. I just thought I'd turn to all of you.
Thanks for taking a look :3
