I know you are busy at massive and you are planing this workshop now, but please set a date as soon as possible.

Thank you.

as things look due to deadlines mb faces we are going to bump the date to october. we have layil headed to prague to scope locations and hotels soon. should have more info shortly.

for now the list of instructors looks like andrew, marko, myself, michael hussar, black frog, puddnhead and aleksi. there may be one or two others making the trip. will wait and see.

we are limiting the size of the workshop this time around. amsterdam was as big as i like them. we are all looking forward to how prague turns out.

Limited size? Oh Noes! I hope people who have been members of the site for a longer time get an advantage on the available spots. :S

Just thought of this, not sure how important it might be, but the National Portfolio Day Association events are mostly happening in October in the US.

I just hope the workshop doesn't have any days on October 15th, haha. :[

I donīt want to be nitpicky but if youīre looking for a new date could you see to it that itīs possible that we would know about 2 month in advance about it? Due to my timesensitive job and deadlines - and I suppose Iīm not the only one here having this sorts of problms ;) - I have to plan my holidays quite meticulously.

A size like in Amsterdam would be great īcause I think bigger groups arenīt as constructive (even if that means thereīs a chance Iīm not able to reserve a spot).

Anyway many thanks for the efforts

Well, October sounds good to me too. I'm pretty excited. The limited size sounds good for more indepth feedback. I just hope I can get a spot.

Hmm.. maybe i should use my services as a threat instead? ah well, I just realized something.. I turned down the leeds festival to go to the workshop...
I would probably not be able to afford both anyways, but damn, i might just have made it.

have a peek at what my friends is gonna see in leeds here (http://www.leedsfestival.com/images/upload/leed-dino.gif)

jesus... thanks for delaying the workshop. fits perfectly XD

i agree about limiting the size of this one. amsterdam was great fun that way and i fear too many attendants would make it less of a up-close and personal learning experience.

a minor update...

miss layil will be visiting prague in a few days to visit the locations for the workshop. she will be taking pictures of the different spaces, meeting with hotels, and setting things up so we can move forward. I will have all info up by the fifteenth of august so everyone has at least two months to plan. we are shooting for the end of october. halloween time here in the states. anyhow, i appreciate everyones patience as we have been trying to time our work in the industry with time to be able to do this. The planning has begun officially.

According to puddnhead we also have a yes from Kent Williams for instructing. http://www.tipos.com.br/media/2/20040406-death.jpg

Woa, nice paintings. Can't wait! Are you planning to have anyone doing sculpting demonstrations too? Like Petey.

Anyhow. Keep up the hard work. We're all grateful for you pulling these things off. Unfortnally I've been on the wrong side of the world when the last workshops where, but this time I'm not gonna miss it!

oh man, i am seriously considering attending this one. i am the nervous type so i am a bit concerned about how it would go down.

Buy a ticket, cab to the hotel, maybe a meeting somewhere, after the day or week cab to the airport for the scheduled flight back? i am in canada so i will need to consider a passport (new initiation i think).

Hello Everyone

Just to keep you peeps up to date, ive just arrived in prague and will be here the next week setting up the workshop. Ill let you all know as soon as i book the venue dates so you can start buying plane tickets! I know youre all eager to start planning, but i promise ill be able to let you know something by the end of the week.

In response to Carnifex's comment:
Ive made my self available to help on this and my being situated in europe already and having the kind of open work schedule that i can travel on short notice makes me a good choice to send on this job. Jason has honored me my placing this responsibility on my shoulders and he knows i care enough about you guys and CA.org to do the very best job i possibly can. Im moving to san fran in october to be closer to Massive Black, and will be in contact with them from then on. That's it. I dont think im getting any special treatment i havent earned. I guess we'll just have to see whether Jason's faith in me is well placed or not.

That's it, nothing more complicated than that, my dears.

Ill keep you informed.

:)

Constanza will do an awesome job. She knows what CA and MB are all about. She has been to two workshops. She also is strong of mind and will not be taken advantage of. More than anyone right now, I trust her to handle something of this importance over there.

Thank you layil for helping. I look forward to the pics of prague and the spaces.

Im EXCITED AS HELL for this. Cant wait cant wait cant wait!!!
