Finally finished? Well, not quite, nothing ever is.
This is a design from my DeamonGate universe which I plan to use for comics and games. I first designed the deamon centaur in 97 but this one deviates some from the original design. I started the painting a while back (tdome 3) but never got around to work on it more.

It's really supposed to look like on this acrylic version from 98:

So I'm not sure if I'm gonna change the new one or make another.
I had to darken it cuz I think my old monitor was a bit dark. Nasty strokes suddenly appeared in the darks on a lot of paintings I did on the old monitor...
When the concept is in your head it is often fluctuating and undefined, from several angles at once. I think atleast that I managed to paint the skincolor in a rather undefined way. I used blue sky speculars to hide some of the 'local color' (I think the raw surface color is called that in artsy-fartsy terms).
