Hey people,
Just finished this one I have been working on during the last week. Pretty happy with it.
If you want you can look at how it came about in the WIP section.

Hey R_M i think it turned out pretty good. I hope you dont mind but i did a little paint over for the eyes and the snarl onthe nose. It was just bothering me a little that the character was looking at me. I think this helps the viewers eyes to stay flowing around the comp--as opposed to getting stopped by his stare directed at us. just a thought-- good job though. so the next piece will be an original design by you right?keep it up!!!!---ty

Hey R_M,
The final came out pretty good! There's a lot of drama to it.
I have to agree with tyboogie about the eyes though.
Still, overall I think your final looks awesome.
(Saw your "Empire" shirt in another forum. I take it you're a fan. :D)

I really like this pic but I have one crit that kinda bugs me. When I first looked at this picture, I thought the lightsaber was getting cut off or it looked like the guy was sticking it into the gear shape that is in the background because the end of the lightsaber light ends right on the edge of the gear in the background (sorry about that sentance). Do you see what I mean? it looks like he's sticking it into the wall behind him, at least to me it does. I just think you should lengthen or shorten the lightsaber so that the tip doesn't land on the edge of that shape in the background.

Hey guys!
Happy you like it, didn't really plan it much it was more of an impulse painting. :) I just had to try out the saber thing.
Gray; I posted my progress as much for you as for me, so that the crit would be more tuned to the image, and how it came around. At the same time it forces me to keep working and updating the thing, otherwise I'll just let it die out since I am supposed to be to busy with school right now!
KayCustomz; well to tell you the truth this one is a speed painting for my standards, haven't kept trak of time, but it is in just below the 20 hours mark!
I ain't the quickest fellow around, and me IQ is pretty low to....:D
Tyboogie; Ubercool that you took the time for the paintover! I honestly don't know which one I like best. they are very differnt in the way they present themselvs, it is amazing how such a detail can change the perspective of an image. Details details details, pay attention!
And no, I begun on a Rancor piece, so bear wit me there will be more SW to come
Rimwalker; when I wear the shirt the chicks aren't really into me, but boy am I proud!
SpeeDFX; I can see what you mean, and I played a lot with the saber, but it was either to short or to long......next one the pose will be less problematic..
