I like to use both painter and photoshop for my digital work. Painter is good for image creation, and nothing beats photoshop for those final tweaks that make the peice. However, photoshop doesn't support Painter's native file format, so I have to save as .psd. The problem is that when I load the psd in photoshop, it always tells me that the color profile doesn't match the current RGB working space. So when I get it loaded, sometimes the colors are screwed up to the point where the image is ruined. How do I avoid this?

I have Photoshop 7 and Painter IX, btw.

The only workaround I have found thus far is to do your basic color palette in Photoshop and then proceed to work in Painter. That way, once you reimport the image into PS for those final touches, you know the colors will be right.
