okay, maybe this is in the wrong thread also, but I feel like the life drawing thread is all about modeling the form... so this is more of a sketch than that... but it's my sister i was playing with sharpies... she was playing with the computer.

i really hate sharpies, but this drawing is working very well. The simplicity of the line is refreshing, and shows that you know the form. i love the eyes.

Dont mean to sound like a dunce but what are sharpies? anyway great picture, its got a relaxed look to it.

sharpies are actually markers for clothing... people use them for labling things, i have real markers also, but i like that using a sharpie makes (me anyway) draw in a slightly different way.. enough that it is interesting (for me)... i think.... possibly because you can't really manipulate them as you can with other, more traditionally artistic medium. And they smell bad. :D besides, the normal thick sharpie was perfect for her dreads. just straight black.
