Hello my name is Kevin Chin, thought id make a thread for my sketchbook type stuff as well as speed paintings or anything ive been trying to do.

Heres something i did recently for Character of the week.

hey man, good stuff to start.
you're doing good with detail, methinks. need to see more texture. the last picture looks nice, but there is not enough texture variation. the people far away also look a little too big for the windmill, but that's just me. the gun-wielding maniac (well, i took the liberty and made him a maniac :P ), a good overall piece. the shoelaces on the right foot (his right) are more in focus than those of the left boot...should that be reversed? i don't know, just a question. anyway, work hard man, hope to see some more updates really soon. peace. :yayca:

good stuff here. the last one you posted the walkway seems obscured. it almost looks like it would fall over.

Really nice work, for the most part its really good but there are a few peices that just aren't as strong as the majority that just seem randomly thrown in. The backgrounds are nice.

7 Studios in Los Angeles, CA. For the most part, its a growing videogame company that has worked on franchise games like the Fantastic 4 movie game and the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean game (which im glad to say i will get credit for). But i assure you the stuff im working on at work is gonna be sweet.

Smitherines- Yes some of the stuff is very very old. Before i learned a lot of the techniques i use now on a daily basis.

heres a quick monochrome study i did of a model from the internet, sadly, no time for figure drawing lessions and my company does not offer them.

i was very inspired last night again in a while after seeing the works of Steve Houston, amazing.
