View Full Version : DSG 774: Environment/Scene: RURAL U.F.O. CRASH-SITE

It's somewhat comforting to know that even alien intelligences are capable of the occassional screw-up. Perhaps it makes them a little less "alien"...
It also may be comforting to think that occassionally we've managed to shoot one of their craft down, because - right or wrong - then maybe we're not totally impotent in the face of their advanced technology.
Then, of course, there's the little matter of someone getting to actually see some of these exter terresterals, instead of having to guess what they look like.
That can be nice.
Well...
whatever the cause, and whatever its meaning, we like it when U.F.O.'s crash. Let's celebrate our love of those fallable trans-stellar weirdos by creating:
Environment/Scene: RURAL U.F.O. CRASH-SITE

Leaving a trail of debris in a curving path as far as any sensors can pick up such small objects, all that remains of this UFO is a molten slag with several crystalline shards imbeded inside. It is obvious that it was aiming towards Earth, but unknown where, why or who sent it.

Holy ****, it's like the golden age of the dsg topic! Didn't quite have time to finish today's this morning, so I'll be checking in late tonight again. Just wanted to say I really appreciate the amount of effort bHand is putting into these. I don't think I've ever seen such a long list of awesome topics.

Yaso thats beautiful work, mmmm fire is good :D
my only tiny observation is that maybe the trench should be deeper so the ufo is embedded into the ground a bit more, cause it looks like it would have toppled over.
anyway, really nice pic.
Mach: yes I believe they do.. Chicken, with a hint of Beef. I can get you a prime steak, from this FBI agent \ butcher contact I have, if you like ;)

On second thought....
on this strange stormy night,
carrying his trusted, crooked pitchfork,
farmer Bob should have stayed inside...
Yaso Kuuhl- most delectable work. Quit stealing my colors!
:teeth:
VegasMike- priceless. Those guys really have TOO much pointy technology.

Nice piece. the burning alien footsteps are a nice touch.
mmm... yes. Being monochromatic is the answer, for funkier work.
(looks outside)
Night is mostly monochromatic anyway.

Eriboss Looks like a big walnut to me, alot of "fuzz" in your pic - meaning I'm not sure what stuff is. Smoke? clouds? fire? aliens? I just don't know...
