Good start to the sketchbook, gets you going I guess. :) It would be good to spend some time getting anatomy though. Bird studies look good, is that a kookubarra? I like the one that goes "Sup?" is there a story behind that one?
cheers,

Bird sketches look good.
Watch for the skull shape in your profile drawings, some of them appear to be too narrow, and some appear to be a tad wide.
The last one reminds me of jackie chen. :P

the bird ones are great...they are grounded in reality. all quality artists do reference to some degree and you can see how much it pays off...don't cheat yourself, use your time wisely and work from life/real world...you have some talent, it just needs developed by learning to represent the world before you can start constructing your own

thanks for the feedback it means a lot to me.
i agree with you all. actually i bought a sketchbook for the purpose of drawing from life and doing studies, but for some reason i started drawing chicks. thanks for getting me back on track :)
bumskee - yepp, that's a kookuburra. that "sup" pic have no story behind what's so ever.
look - jackie chan, you say? hehe.. it was meant to be a rockdude :)

I like the guy with the goatee the best. You need to work on your linework a little. I don't know how you draw, I'm only looking at your work and trying to figure it out. Sometimes drawing quicker, lighter, and looser will help to build confidence with your linework. Keep it up.
