Now, the site is basic, but the concept behind the comic I think is a good one. I'm looking for an artist who'll just bang out a couple of simple single panel cartoons a week, nothing too flash for the above linked comic. The existing artist just isn't interested and beyond not having the talent to do the writing justice, I don't have the time to draw it, I'm working on about three other manga style comics as it is.
The writing is sarcastic and generally a little bizzaire.
If anybody's interested I'd love to see a few clips of your work, I'm not overly worried about style, it doesn't have to match the current one, so long as its reasonably unique and doesn't take two weeks to do one peice.
A example of a script if anyone wants to have a go for the hell of it...
Dark night with a vaguely outlined row of houses (how much detail is up to you)
A dark figure urinating on a door, with some bubbles above his head or something to siginify he's drunk.
A wire running from the door to up close in the foreground with a little box labeled "Danger. Electricity"
Caption; Bloody Drunks...
