Hello, I'm new here, and this is my, eh, "opening picture". This isn't all that new, I drew it about 5 months ago, but it is probably the best one I have right now.

Compared to many of the pictures I've seen around here this isn't much more than a doodle, but it took me about 3 hours to make it, and I prefer to not colour my pictures, so this is about as ready as I'll make it.

It was quite a bit bigger before I uploaded it, btw...

Please dont flame me...

EDIT: I made it a .jpg, so now it's a bit bigger.

It looks nice, but is there any chance that you could make it bigger, its hard to tell when its so tiny

Yeah, and post more too. If you're fifteen, that's good. But you should post more!

wow... positive replies!

It's so small because photobucket doesn't take pics larger than 200 kb or somesuch...

Also, you should know that the character is based on Arthas the death knight from Warcraft III. Not copied from, but based on.

If you use .jpg compression, you can make it a lot bigger.

nice! You obviously put a lot of work into it.
Things to think about for you next pic:
- Sketch out where the image will be on the page beforehand... that way you won't be cutting off the edges.
- Ditto... that way your anatomy will stay in proportion.
- Push the values more so you can achieve higher contrast.

Oh, and learn as much anatomy and put in as much life drawing as you possibly can!

Heh.. thanks for your replies.

The edges are cut like that because, as I said before, I drew this picture about 5 months ago, on an A3 paper, and back then I had no scanner, and wasn't planning on buying one. NOW I have a scanner, but the scan-area-thingy is only the size of an A4, thus I had to place the picture so that as much as possible wuold be visible.

Also, the foot that you can't see looks horrible.

Try scanning the image in sections, and then piecing it back together in photoshop or some other such software. I do most of my sketches on 18x24 paper, and then scan it in pieces.
