hi, this is a sketche of my dog and me. I was holding him while writing an sms and a friend of mine took a picture so i decided to do a drawing of it using the picture as reference critics are welcome :rolleyes: this is also a wip so i could use some help http://pwp.netcabo.pt/0240558202/dog.jpg dang no replies :| :confused:

its a nice sketch and i like the crosshatching. the line quality is good to but try to draw from life too. you wont always have a picture handy. and once you get the hang of it you get some real cool drawings of people doing junk they normally dont do in a pic. keep it up

your dog is cute... but yes, dogs are a lot of fun to draw while they're just doing stuff. what you can do is just watch him for a while, then when he does a pose you like, in like, 5 seconds get the gesture down. then you can add the other stuff later, go on top of it, until you get the drawing you like. i rarely do it that way, but, that's cause i love the way the first gesture looks. i'm not huge on rendering the poop out of things.

For some reason its making me laugh, i think its the expression on the dogs face, but a good drawing.:D
