Will need a lot of time to finish this one 25%done and I'm in exam period but I'll update in this post.
I'm not 100% satisfied with the jessica alba drawing. (face, breasts -> she's almost to hot to put on paper)

I think your proportions are really quite *edit (good)* as well as the spirit of each potrait. Just try to keep the shading cleaner and more consistent. Fill them out as flat areas of shade starting from light to dark. Good stuff!

Oooh.. Jessica Alba. Very nice choice of female subject. :D!!
You're pretty good at eyeing out the general location of things, but I think the sizes of each object are a bit off in relation to each other. Also, remember that you can just *not* shade in an area to show light. A little bit more contrast between the shading values would really help with that. Also, try to rely less on lines, and more on shape.. (that's what someone told me once, and it is really good advice. I just never really put that into practice... :^^;: )
Keep it up!

Agree with your ability to place things in a generally good postion, shading's quite good too, but yeah, a little more work on the proportions.

If you see that proportions are off tell me where. I know that the animal skull is a bit too big and the bracelets are a bit off. Jessica's eyes are not so well but i think i have to draw bigger to get details up.

so these are some cool pics, I liked the chick so I went ahead and sketched her as well. For a critique I would say your proportions are right on except for her right boob looks too small and low. Look at the angle of the top of her shirt and compare it to the angle in your drawing, your angle is a little too extreme, the pic is a little less.
And for shading I like to block in the main light and dark shapes and then ya know tweak it out. And when shading always think about why the shadow is where it is, think about where the light is and what about the anatomy is causing the shadow.
And for her face, yeah her eyes are wider, but once you lay out the basic face just go back and hit all the stuff that makes her face look different than another face. (that makes sense right)
Anyways here's my pic, dont want to jack the thread or anything just thought Id get some practice from this pic too. There's plenty wrong with it just sketched it right quik. lol yeah I did her eyes too wide...

Thnx for the post and comment...
Nice penwork on your website..
For me this threads is open for everybody to post their own work (but use same ref.) Others may practice just like I do. It's also easy to compare and evaluate your own view on the ref and your technique.
