I think you've done a pretty good job :). As far as critiques go, I would suggest adding more detail to the image and also lowering her eye a little. She doesn't look like she has quite enough forehead so you might want to push her hair further up and add a bit more forehead. Other than that it looks fine, very much like a woman. Hope that helps.

Ok - I took the original image into painter and just painted over it, hope you dont mind:)
I basicly used three brushes, the just add water tool, the dry ink brush, abd a little felt tip marker pen for details.

when trying to capture that magical beauty that is woman, its always bets to remember less is more, the fewer marks you use to describe thier beauty the younger and more gracefull they will appear. the first thing i did was use the just add water tool on a low opacity to reduce the appearance of strokes, I made my marks following the countours of the face, when you paint these strokes imagiane you are gently stroking her face with the tips of your fingers, it helps.

i added some more matter to the top of her head to fix the placment of the eyes. eyes are important, agian follow the form of the eyeball, its a shpere, make you marks acordingly
once the eyes start to look back at you with the illusion of emotion that when you have something.

as far as color, I added some english red to your shaddows to give them more luminosity and a wash of blue to eliminate the white background cuz it was hurting my eyes.

faces arent hard to draw, but the fear in your mind is difficult to overcome, you can overcome it through dicipline and practice, the fastest route to improvment is drawing from life,
good luck.

Harmony Steel,
First off, I like your name. Second, thanks for the tips.

Android,
Thank you so much for actually taking the time to paint over my pic and add what was missing. I saved your version and the next time I come back to this drawing or make another your advice will be very influencial. I can't get much advice from people I know here in real life cause they won't be honest. All they say is, "That's awesome." I'm gonna continue coming to Concept Art for real critiques. Time to draw again! My third drawing will be up sometime somewhere...

One question for Android or anyone that knows. How can I get to the Just Add Water tool? I've never used Painter so I'm having a little trouble finding it cause my Help Topics just doesn't work. Help...
