Keep in mind that i`ve only been seriously making drawings since christmas, and that 4 months ago the only think i could make a decent drawing of was Dexter, indeed the one on cartoon network. These drawings are 5 weeks old tops, i used loose sheets before that, which i all lost. There are some things you may recognize, since i kinda tried imitating the good guys here.

Uhm, the only things i want comments on are the latter 10 or something, i know what`s wrong with like 1 to 29, but have no intention of doing anything about it.

Here`s the link, it`s on MSN Photo`s, since i have no idea what else i could use that is easy and free.

Copy and paste is the only option i guess, it`s fucked up if i use the link thing. Copy the first part, then the second, then the third, etc. etc. It keeps putting /url in the middle of my link.

I also think this is my first post, so an introduction is in order i think. My name`s Paul Franken, from Holland, I`m 16 years old and I really want to do something with creativity as a profession. Most of my drawings will be men, since i`m gay, and don`t want to make a secret of it. That`s just a bit of irrelevant information there, but i still like to mention it.

Cheers,
SinisteR

Already restating that he does NOT think msn photo`s is easy anymore, the link is waaay too long.

It's pretty cool, and it looks like you've progressed a pretty good amount since you started putting stuff up there. Use refrences when you draw, and use an image hosting service, not MSN.

I`d really like something else than MSN, but have no clue as to what i should use. *hint* *hint*

I like the gollum looking creature on page 5, Do you have any plans to colour them?

Some of the earlier faces look a bit out of proportion but they appear to get better as the pages go on. Are they in the order that you drew them? If they are I can definitely see some improvement. Im guessing a few of them might be self portraits right? I like the head on the left hand side of number 35 the best.

a few tips I can offer are that I think you need to look carefully at eyes, eyelids, eye lashes, and ears maybe do a few studies of individual facial features using a mirror. Your sketches also seem a little flat, im not sure what type of pencil your using but i suggest you get a nice dark soft pencil 4b perhaps and add some depth to the really dark places like the pupils of the eyes, insides of the ears. Once you have all the really dark places done work switch to a slightly harder pencil and work on the not so dark areas and do the lightest shading last

Your off to a good start, stick at it. For someone thats been drawing for 5 weeks I think you have made astounding progress.

They`re in the order i made em in, and don`t have many plans of coloring, i have no idea how or with what, never done it on a portrait before.
