Great handstudies! From the portraits i like the first one the most, dunno why perhaps its looseness. You certainly have a feeling for anatomy when it comes to drawing from refs. Try to implement that in your other drawings and they'll get a lot better! A very nice start, nonetheless. :)

Love the hand studys and you realism, i'm jealous >:{
Good old jimi's eyes are going in different directions
Your pencils have a really lively line going on, i'd like to see some of that carried to the paintings.
I best get back to painting too...

i truly enjoy this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/xtuni.jpg) portrait, especially the hair, it is rather superb. very nice. I also like this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/dad.jpg) a lot, the lines are great. I strongly suggest you continue in the direction you took with these two pieces. nice book.

New one is very cool. The pencils and colouring are both well done.

Some things to watch out for:

- The hairline on our right is a little high, I think, it's making her skull look a bit oddly-shaped.

- Eyes are a little mismatched, the irises could be located more cohesively to make it look more like she's staring at something. Her left eye seems to be looking further to the left than her other eye, which is the wrong way round if she's meant to be focusing on something.

- Her right ear seems much lower than the left.

- The angle of the features like the eyes and ears are implying a different head angle than what the jaw is suggesting - her eyes and nose imply looking to the side and a slight tilt, while the jaw seems to be aimed directly at us.

Nice stuff so far though, I really like the contrast you get with your pencils - I'm always afraid of going that far :\

Keep it up!

-Paul

Really, keep practising them, don't stop drawing them - you'll get better with every face you draw.
And you know what they say about hands, being able to draw them is being able to draw anything.

i think the highlight on the bottom lip needs to be softened a bit, and the red shadow under the lips looks like smudged lipstick. the reflected light in the eye on the right side of the picture needs softening too, and the thin strand of hair you added doesn't fit with the rest. and a few more highlights further down the hair where it catches the light going down to the neck.

When you are focused you are doing some nice images but there is a real lack of consistency here ~~ try to set aside a time that is your time to draw and pick a space where you are going to do it, then try to do it every day. Block everything else out listen to your favorite music and put your mind into drawing. Pick a subject like bugs or birds or plants and draw them till you feel like your know what you are drawing then move on to something else ~~ to key is to draw everyday.

Becca's back and with a new sketchbook! Dang, everyone's making a new sketchbook..it's like a fad..I think I'll make one too!
ANYWAY...You have lots of newness here along with some other faces I recognize from your previous sketchbook.
The new pics are awesome, let me say..(the chick with the crazy bugeyes cracks me up^_^ ) Your faces are great..but what kinda pencil are you using? just curious..But you got some realistic expressions goin on that are hard to capture..keep it up and I'll be back!~~Sio :teeth:

Yaay, thanks for the comments :canadian:

mentler Thanks alot for telling me that. I have noticed that I have only been spending about 15 minutes on each sketch, and they usually end up being just line drawings. and because of that I think my rendering skills are actually getting worse!! :$ but I dont know if that can really happen or if that's just me :rendered: . Thanks again. (away to study etc)

Siobhan Yaay Siobhan :} !! So you like the bugeyes, eh?! LOL, it reminds me of smeagle :bashful: Um.. I use 4B's most of the time, but I sometimes use HB, (the reason why the lines are so dark is because I ajusted the contrast in psp. (my scanner was being gay) >:{ )

Hi. Still checking this.
The BMP looked better when it was small, really, because the pixels are gone.
If you want the same size as in your last post, maybe try working on a GIGANTIC MSpaint canvas... :)
And if it doesn't turn out the way you would've liked it to do, you still learned something. Learning is kickass.

I love this one = June 17th, 2005 07:34 PM but I have to agree with Mentler. Just before you start drawing, you should pause a few seconds and think about what you're going to draw. Otherwise, you'll just end up putting lines on a blanksheet of paper, which will turn into yet another one of those sketches you're always doing. (not being specific here, just trying to make an image... is that correct english?) It's like drawing at the telephone, you're not focussed.
You'll eventually learn from that as well, but one might learn more and faster if one's focussed. Try drawing things you've never drawn before. Or the same things, from a different angle. (try, for example, drawing people from bird's eye or frog perspective) Don't bother about how bad it looks, it's called improving your skills

But you're doing fine, and you just draw what you want, I'm not here to tell you what to do. Oh and I'm coming to Scotland soon, so where are you? :hatsoff:

Rebecca
June 20th, 2005, 02:46 PM

Kirkcaldy.
Pronounced 'kercoddy' meaning 'castle on the hard hill' ... yep :)
Birthplace of THE Adam Smith, famous economist. Don't know him, but then again, I don't know any famous people at all.

You got some nice old buildings there, but theyre messing it up by planting those huge things right in the middle of the 'Lang Toun'. Too bad. Ooh and it's on the Firth of Forth, I've been IN that water! Woo.
Ah here it is, just above Edinburgh. Been there too. Amazing castle. And the gunshot. Yay. Holiday memories.

Well, I'm heading that way again this summer, I'll surely pass by Edinburgh again, so beware.

Not sure this has been said, but Ithink you need to focus a bit more on Facial structure. That one pic you rendewred looks good, but you have solid black outlines which make it look weird. It also seems you might need some work on Facial planes themselves. Try sometimes to draw what you know instead of waht you see, because your eyes are never 100% reliable.

dadu
June 20th, 2005, 08:39 PM
hey, lovin the ones you posted on may 31
i would suggest blocking in big shapes before you start goin into detail and rendering
but ya know, just keep pencil and hand and its all good

Zergaloth
June 21st, 2005, 08:25 AM
A little something on the rendering. My teacher told me that I have the same problem as you, black outlines on faces make it look quite flat. A little trick to get it more round is to draw the outline of the head rather soft, and things like the nose, lips, eyebrows and chin (which are closer to the viewer) harder. It works like a photograph, if the nose is sharp, the ears will be a little blurry.
It works, you know. Also get your shading to follow the direction and curves of the skin. Skin doesn't go straight upwards from the eyelid to the eyebrow, there's a lot of little curves there. And cheekbones come out better if you draw the shading like it's the skin stretched over those bones.

First one on Juny 15th is super, btw, didn't notice be4.

Dan1989
June 21st, 2005, 09:53 AM
Nice sketchbook! I would like to see more variety, most of the drawings here seem to be of female faces (not that there's anything wrong with that), just try drawing people of different ages/gender/ethnicity.
Try sometimes to draw what you know instead of waht you see, because your eyes are never 100% reliable. Sorry, but I strongly disagree with that. If this were true, wouldn't we just say "screw drawing from ref or anatomy, I'll draw only from imagination"? You have to train your eyes to see correctly and translate that into a drawing. Besides, it encourages the use of preconceived notions and symbolism which is a basic fault that is hard for many artists to overcome anyway. Feel free to kick me if you think I'm being too harsh =P

Rebecca
June 21st, 2005, 02:44 PM
Dan1989 Yeah, Youre right I do need more variety. The only reason I draw just faces, is because I -really- bad at figure. I mostly draw females, because I'm -really- bad at drawing males :( I need to study, like you, so I can be as good as you :bashful: ta for thee comments.

ZergalothYaay! you know it!! Heee! I mean of course you know it  (duh!) *slap* J/K.
The Adam Smith Theatre is a good place. well my Bro was in a play there. he sucked..paah! :}
And yeah, I've been in the forth too :nohope: convinced me that I needed swimming lessons...badly.
I can see edinburgh from here, "Hello Edinburgh! :teeth: "
And yeah thanks for the comments on shading also! I need to work a bit more on the face. I haven't been learning anything latley, just been ...drawing them .

dadu Glad you like em! :teeth: :) I 've tried that blocking in thing before, didn't like it , too messy. hmm.. Thanks anyway.

Pixeldragoon Yeah, thats a good Idea about the facial planes. will try that soon. But when you said I should draw with my mind instead of exactly whats infront of me. I have to agree wioth Dan1989 on that one. :blah: I think the only time you should start doing that is when youve mastered everything about facial anatomy, perspective etc. And believe me, I am a LONG way from that. :dur:

Dont' make me come up there! Your studys are solid, but your mind keeps making obvious mistakes... try drawing just the shadow of an object, it will make you get a better idea of form... infact when you are drawing from your mind add some tone... Oh i dunno.... I'm just a fuzzy lil badger.
But draw out the major forms... before sketching the details.
Great stuff apart from that. Your colouring onthis (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/army.jpg) shirt is impressive.

Hey there

Kirk Hammett! you drew kurk, that is so kewl
nice work one thing i think u need to work on
which is somthing i do all the time is not to make
your lines really thick because in real life some things dont
have definite lines, like eyes and lips, it tends to really
flatten them, but yeh stay focus enjoy your drawing keep
the good work up.

I like your new avatar ;) and don't feel bad about some of your self-portraits, atleast you're doing them pretty early on. I can tell you are trying to make the self portraits look like YOU, but sometimes that can work against us, we start drawing what we think we look like instead of what we really see. The most beautiful head/figure is a correctly drawn one, focus on getting the shapes and form correct, and likeness/beauty will fall into place.

Deathwish yeah, I doodle during exams as well, I need to stop that.

Sems thanks 4 replying, I think the cheekbone is what is stopping it look like me :$ and also because I moved whilst drawing that, so the cheek bone stuck out more after leaning my head forward slightly, so all the proportions were fucked up. :upset: . welp, thanks again for your comment!

syris thanks a lot, man

Dan1989
heee ^__^ thanks for your reply. I have been doing a lot of sp's latley, it's good practise. I can see I am improving, :bashful: .

och.. I'm so jealous dan1989. you were born on the same year as me, so we are exactly the same age, and your sketchbook is pure genius. makes me want to study some more (like I have EVER studied :blahblah: lol )

wel thanx..

Hey, was looking through your sketchbook, and I really like a lot of you fasion style drawings (the ones with only a few defined lines and stuff), but you should really start getting away from such thick outlines of faces and try not to sign you name so big (like in your latest self portrait), its destracting. But good luck! I like your stuf!

Hm, I looked through your sketchbook and noticed one thing at once. I have the impression, that you feel quite uncomfortable with your pencil. Some of your lines are lookin very unconfidently and drawn reeeaaallly slooowllly.
My advice: keep cool, make the pencil your friend, try to trust your instincts. Maybe you should study more anatomy, so that you can be sure that what you're doin is right. There are many rules concerning anatomy, if you lern and pay attention to them, the stuff you draw will 1st look good and 2nd more loose, and the people who see your stuff will know that the artist who drew that knows what he does.
If I am wrong with my speculation, just ignore me :) .
Draw, draw, draw! There are many good ideas in your sketchbook, just work on your technique, keep at it and you will do it!
good luck!

*yawn* tired... back hurts..bah

Well i'm seeing lots of improvement or your getting someone else to draw them... which one is it? hu hu...

I have some crits. learn hand anatomy more than anything. in that pic that says I am so pissed off, you have the thumbs the wrong way round....hehe. but i agree with screw the world. good choice of words.
I love the eye on its own somewhere up there. jealous! looks pro lol

nice drawings, but i think the best way to fix/work on your proportion is to block or grid the parts, such as face, divide it up in to the most basic parts, starting from halfway through...eyeline...nose...chin...and so on, use more anatomical refference(anatomy books, bridgeman)

...it helped me a bunch :blahblah:

Zergaloth
July 16th, 2005, 03:16 PM
I think it's important not only to point out one's failures but also one's improvements so... keep drawing at this speed, Rebecca! Really, that's where I always fail, I don't draw as much as I should, maybe even not as much as I would like to, though it's completely in my own hands.

Keep going on those self-portraits. It's a very good subject, as you always have it with you (in the reflection of a train window, in a puddle on the street, in a mirror at home...) and because it is you (and we all think we're ugly), you'll look better than when you'd be drawing someone else.

Lips and eyes are the parts of the head which make it look realistic, and you're doing great on them. Your eye-doodle is splendid! Draw lots of loose light lines, and then take a darker pencil and go over the right line again. You'll get the feel of the "right line".

Oh and if you look like this and like Metallica, I'd (bloody) marry you. :bashful:

Right, i think you should try working in pen, it gives you much more confidence when putting down lines. Also try grabbing a permanent marker and drawing only the shade of something you see. At the moment your drawings don't seem to have a huge amount of mass and weight.
Nice work on bodys you got going.

Great stuff. Better than some of the things i was drawing wen i was ur age. Dont stop... and try to make ur lines flow more. Think about everyline u draw... take the time to go through an entire drawing but do it slowly, try ghosting a line b4 u put it down to build ur confidence (ghosting is drawing the line without touching the paper). Ur at the stage that just takes time... but wen u start to hit things that u really like it'll be sooo worth it! U have a sense for shadows too, i can see the use of core shadow and highlight quite well... something i myself have yet to understand completely. Wen u do a figure. Try and draw the whole thing without picking up ur pencil and then erase out the lines that dont feel right. Just let it flow. The basics may seen boring... but get them down pat, its worth it. And keep up the life drawing... its like ur loading ammunition into ur mind that u can recall and fire onto the paper for later drawings. keep it up.

nice sketches, keep em coming, i especially like the girl with the pearl earing, nice shading on the earing!! and your self portraits are well drawn. I recommend practicing sketching very sorta wildly letting the pencil move freely, without losing direction or shade. Its important to lessen the stiffness, and to conquer the pencil. Most important of all, dont stop :D

As far as the girl being hunted is concerned I like it but, and I would not be critical if you didnt ask , the neck and the face as they are conected to the top of the torso does not appear natural. The face is looking right along with the neck but the body is facing strait causing both parts to not look attached when I noticed it anyway. I do like the composition and the light from the trees could be limited to the background depending how you want it set up.so that the black shadows and the laser stand out more and so that the light does not seem to go where the laser is pointing. Uhhh ....hell i think that is it ... I saw some characters with guns in the background and I think that this part of the reference section could greatly help (Guns have anatomy too :P )

http://www.wgcshop.com/

if you want to continue drawing guns anyway. Before i begin ranting... too late, I'll say it looks like you have fun with what you do keep it up.

Ah, this sketchbook disaster isn't so disasterous after all - maybe a little sporadic but definitely improving.

I know i sound like a broken train, but I'm glad you're heading towards the realism and understanding value and the fact that in real life, seldom are things determined by lineweight, but by the contrast between light and darkness with a fill color - a thing find myself doing now more than ever is looking at things all around me and thinking "what are the midtones, higlights and shadow hues?", you can define a lot wit just value.

I'd personally say a couple of areas you really wanna lock down are lineweight and anatomical proportion and correct anatomy. Good luck with it!

Plunged through your sketchbook throroughly and I see that improvement has occured since the first line of work ;) . You have tried many interesting aspects and drawings from life which is great indeed. Much potential to be seen here, I assure you.

Faces tend to have problems in their shape and eyes also, but they will be perfected as you push further ;) . Confidence is of the essence, eh?

You have sense of coloring, absolutely so, glad to see colored stuff here along with the black&white works. As for the last picture, it's awesome! There's good feeling in it and the shady form with the weapon pointing at the great looking girl gives alot more of the overall feel to the whole work. Great stuff!!
More works like that and you are sure to transcend to something exquisite, I'll wager ;) .

-------------------------------------------------------

this is very hard for me to say....but great progress... there i said it... god..

I got some crits on the last pic, tho its looking very nice, especially the hair.
well you obviously gotta make the trees more solid and the ground more ground like.
I dunno if thats her hair or a head band, but if its hair make it less shiny, and from seeing where the light is coming from her ear shouldn't have highlights, and overall her skin needs some texture and not look like silk.
that thing on her face, looks like a cut, so if it is make it more cut like lol add a little dirty red, maybe some blood down the face. and prob some more cuts over her body as it would add to the fact his trying to get away from the laser dude.
and bring the collar bone back from the shoulder just a little bit.

I suck at crits i know.. but i did it! :nohope:

Pierre
September 25th, 2005, 07:22 AM
Yo, Rebecca, don't bump your thread! Just keep on working hard on your drawings and you'll see a progress. I would say you should work on your anatomy - get Bridgeman he's really good and you'll unterstand really quick by his lectures how the body works and is held together. Also try to work on your lines. Imagine while drawing as if you were sculpturing. You have parts coming closer to you and other that are far more behind - this affects the line quality as well. As far as that I like what you're doing here. Keep us updated and have fun!

The studies are great! You just gotta remember them when you do your own sketches and doodles.. Take the faces on the two male persons in this one (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/doodle2.jpg), their facial features are a bit messy... you could maybe start with a study and do one on your own with the same pose, and check for errors after.. Just to help your eye :)

Just two cents...

On another note, your rendering is pretty darn good! I like this one (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/smeagain.gif) alot!

Hey these Pictures are really nice! I can see you've come a long way from when you've started. The improvements are quite amazing. You are really strong with the faces. My only suggestion is to concetrate a little more on the rest of the body. Unless ofcourse, all you like to do is face portriates. There's nothing wrong with that. Thanks for commenting on my stuff. Keep it up.

Nice portrait <> pretty girl <> arm study is and arm study <> try to concentrate on the mechanics more and the rendering less <> draw, draw, draw and let the rendering happen where it is needed <> I love to get involved in the little stuff myself <> the problem is my brain stops <> when that happens I know if is time for me to move on to something else

You have cool stuff here.
Really nice shadings. That portrait for your friend is really good looking. It has good depth on contrast. Those shoulders look just a bit boxy, but it's a face portrait right :P .
Also that MiuMiu girl truly catched my eye. It is soo pretty. Great face, but when you look at the hands and arms, you should maybe spot something to fix.
Most of the head studies are looking good also. Draw more more more!

Keep on.

The drawing of your friend from yesterday is so frigging good it stopped me dead in my scrolling and I just stared. I love the nose, lips hair.. I'm not so keen on the way you shaded the lower face/jaw (the upper border of the shaded area doesn't seem to follow facial contours in the way I would expect it to), but everything else looks fantastic.

Awesome!

Broken Lizard, I dont watch it, I watched it when I was little, and I don't do fanart, I just done ONE single drawing that was copied it from a pic, and i'm not a fan, oh my god, why do you just assume stuff like that? I do one one drawing of Ginger, and now I watch it, and do fanart?!

Thankyou bumskee, My dad asked me to do that, I was getting a bit upset cause I thought I was ''losing my talent'' after 3 months of not drawing at all, so he said he'd make me a cuppa coffee if I drew it. So I did! and it got me back on track. :) and thanks again.

and I noticed that you've made quite a bit of progress since your first posts...way to go, that's what I like to see!

I really, REALLY love your color squares. I am a bit of a bright color nut, and I love the style.

well, you're on the right track, keep creating.

Hello. You've got some really nice drawings going on here. Some problems with the overall mass and proportions. I suggest you study more anatomy.
But you are young as hell so you've got all the time in the world to become a really good artist. I like the red haired woman on this same page. See you.

Uwaaaa ! That was a bit of a surprise, stumbling across my name like that! I like your squares, they seem a lot more alive than mine did. They are pleasant to look at.

You seem extremely busy nowadays huh? All these exams and studies, I hope some of them are art related! Your progessing too well to give it up :P.

You should drop by the coloring book thread, or the new one I'm trying to get rolling in my signature.

Great to see you doing well, take care and keep it up!

Idiot Apathy Hey there! I will certainly look at your thread, nice to see some new things coming out :}, and I was looking at the progress that you've made with colours, and it motivated me to work on that as well!

...And yeah, exams, exams, exams, three weeks 'till my exams, oh no :( I'm practising for my art exam today actually, I have 6 hours to do a self portrait from life, LOL, so I made this in about 1 hour:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/Madpainting.gif

as you can see, I really am trying to do the skintone, theyre fekking hard, too :O the hand is a different colour from the face, and the face has too much blue/green around the chin, and it looks like she needs a shave :( And because this drawing was made like, 10 months ago, the proprtions are very bad.

Placeboast Damn, yeah, I do need to study!! Thanks for reminding me :)

Looking through this sketchbook I was going to say you need to proportion the faces a bit more like some of the earlier ones look a bit bug eyed but looking at this last page I can see you have already started to work on that and it's looking sweet. I would say though that you have to work on the form of entire figures a bit more I mean there arn't alot of full figures in here and the ones that are look a little bit out of proportion. On the whole though very impressive, you have aced your tonal works they are really nice just work more on the bodys. Looking forward to more updates.

Lazy GunThanks a lot, I'm glad that you can see progress. It keeps me motivated :) cheers.

Ernesto NaveHey it's piece of cake :) you just need to find an image host, like Photobucket, I use photobucket. Then You need to set up an account there, it's free, and copy and paste the url into your sketchbook thread. :teeth:

CyanidYeah, I cant wait to start putting colour into my pictures, but I need some more practise. Thanks for replying :)

I have been looking at your thread Idiot Apathy. I have started the little activities, and I can say, they are good fun to do. But I didn't want to post late, so I'll post them here:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/valuecolour.gif
Heres the colour/value thing, I used purple, cause I like purple. :) But I used a mixture of blues and pinks in there, to make it look a bit more interesting, and I included the reflecting light around the bottom. But I dont think that its as good as the greyscale, because when you look at ithe coloured sphere in grey mode, the reflecting light almost disappears. But, hey, I only gave it one shot without starting over :)

heres the grey scale:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/valuecolourgreyworld.gif

the next one was the coloured blocks. I enjoyed doing this one, took about 35 minutes, and this was the first one:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/colouredblocks.gif

I found the reflecting light from the floor really hard! and I was stuck with where to put the shadows.

Magic Man
October 25th, 2005, 09:34 AM
you need to work on your hands and feet, at this point they are very weak and this is also obvious how you try to hide them. Don't hide from your weaknesses or else you will never improve.

Idiot Apathy
October 25th, 2005, 01:55 PM
Jez, seriously where are you going to school; it really sounds brutal. College isn't even that bad for me right now.

The exercises from the Peer Project Thread turned out really nice. There isn't any due dates or lateness, it's supposed to be open the whole time, all the activities going on at once. So post them there! You'll get more feedback and others can learn from what you've done. I'd appreciate it :).

Good job on the Color Spheres, your values are really pretty close. The reflected light was a bit rough huh? I think you got the idea of the exercise though, too often value is forgotten in colors. I like your colored blocks as well, good job on the values but watch your intensity; most of the blocks are the most intense on the back darkside. They are different colors so the light reflected onto the back would appear differently on all of them. I.e. Red light on blue might dull it a bit or even turn it closer to blue violet, but of course it would raise the value a bit (it's still your dark side though!). Blue light on a blue block would raise the intensity and still of course the value (adding light!). Hope I'm making some sense...

Your shadows are just a bit odd, such confusing things aren't they? Generally with one light source the lines of your shadows from different objects should run in the same directions. Right now it's almost like several lights. Anyways, post in the Project thread and when I have more time I'll see if I can clear some of it up with pictures instead of clumsy words.

Looking through your sketchbook I've notice that there is a lot of "banding". I.e. the shadow side of your yellow block. This is probably because your saving as a .Gif, you'd have better results with a .Jpeg.

Oh, P.S. I don't think you'll have much trouble with a self portrait, you've already done some very nice ones. Good luck! Go get 'em.

Marjolein Thankyou so much! your reply just cheered me up!! :} cheerz.

heres a couple of paintings I did, spent about 2 hours doing both. Gee, i really need to save up and buy good brushes, mines are all too big and chunky to do small details.

the first one:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/snakesglasseye/Purplehairedgirl.jpg
actually very un happy with it, I had the ear in it originally (gawd, I cannot spell) but I kept on making mistakes, and the paper was getting very fragile with all the lifting off I was doing to it. My brushes were just to big to be able to do it properly :(

this is just a quick face i did with the left over paint. :) took about 10 minutes

you obviously enjoy drawing so the only bit of advice i'll give you is to practice it, and as i think magic_man said, practice your weaknesses, since people will draw what they get most success in, for me that's faces and torsos so i'm now looking at legs, hands and hips. If you start that habit now, you'll be amazing withing a couple of years...

oh and work with your school classes, put everything into art projects and design work and you'll benefit by learning far more than you need to to simply pass an exam, trust me.. i'm a teacher :-p

good work here though, remember to use construction lines to set up the studies, it will help with proportion. and ask your CDT teacher to give you some 2point perspective examples or an example of how to construct freehand drawings (those are quicker for getting ideas down)

keep it up

wow....i am new here and i look at your whole sketch book and you can see the evolution of some of your skills......mostly the things you like to draw......but like i say to all the artist i know....."even if you hate it force yourself to draw it anyways, because weaknesses only hold you back from what you can truely be"

so practice on what you hate to draw or what just annoys you to draw and it will help you as an artist all around.

but this is a very good sketch book.

that was my 2 cents.....now only if i had a scanner :bashful:

A free photobucket account allows 2500mb of bandwith each 30(?) day period. Because you have so much stuff right here it takes up a lot of bandwith. It will reset the next time the 30 days rolls over and everything will show up again.

Not sure if they will care but you could just use multiple accounts from now on.
