Yo just throwing this up second attempt at PS. It frustrates me to say the least...anyway was going for a painterly type style. I have been looking at alot of Justin Sweet's work, so you may or may not be able to see the influence. Its due next week for class any tips would be great :^^:
Almost forgot my g/f posed for me..took some bargaining but she did it :dur:

Nice girl.
Im not sure if i can see the JS influence here :wink: i havnt seen much of his stuff(yet), but as i recall it has an oil look to it. This dosnt. I would sharpen her up, add more shadow and slow down on the colors. Put her in some kind of cool inviroment. At the moment this looks like a sketch to me.

Yeah the more I look at it now it seems unfinished and sketchy. I'm going to work on it alot more today at work. Matt Dixon- I love Justin Sweet's work and was trying to see if I could somewhat duplicate what he did. I wanted to add a few things to the pic but overall I can't figure out what he did to get those results.
Not sure if he uses PS or traditional media maybe both...dunno.
