Welcome to CA!

First thing I noticed was you dove right into complex forms, poses, and drapery. Study up on anatomy and form, figures and things and work your way up. Personally, I'd suggest don't worry about color for now, worry about value, making the shapes and forms believable and anatomically correct/proportional.

I noticed on Wolverine's hand, the blades that come out between his knuckles aren't close to where they should be... the inward-most blade is what really stands out.

Good work and if you keep at it and really dedicate some time, in a year you'll improve so much you won't believe it if you really push yourself to learn! I started out way worse than here, so you're on the right track.

Keep it up, post post post draw draw draw!

Listen to what Ian said, he speaks the truth. I see a good grasp on drawing in your pages, but you still need to learn the proportions of the body. Also, value and shading - alot of your drawings seem to be either full of midtones, or lacking any shading.

Also, it seems like you rush through some of the pieces, take some more time to really get into a drawing to make it work.

Good stuff though, just keep practicing and you never know, you might be the next Milligan.

Hey man. I checked out your sketchbook, and you have alot of developing ideas and pieces. I read the other comments and I agree on this: you just gotta sit down and buckle down on your proportions. Read books, sketch, do studies, check out the references and tutorials available on :yayca: and draw, draw, draw. Right now I am just slowly soaking up as much knowledge as I can and drawing, trying to improve. You're doing the right thing of drawing constantly, but remember to think and observe when you draw. Take notes with your eye and your mind, and you'll see a huge improvement. Yackle your weakness as well. If you know you have trouble drawing a certain subject, DRAW IT! It's the only way you get better is with beating it into your head and eventually you get the results from your mind. I would suggest looking up fredflickstone's work and tutorial on here, he's a wealth of knowledge. Good luck.

seriously greene, do you want to improve in a really fast rate? take some reallife references of whatever u want to learn to draw.... and then draw it, trace it what ever, as long you actually did it, and once that is done, map out what you've drawn.

map out i mean scale it, section it, catagorize it or cube it, whatever you want just make sure you doit so your brain sees and feels the resemblance and you will be on your way....

and its great to be able to visualise and execute anything your mind sets on.
