This one is odd, but I think I like it!
I love the way you did the face, very nice color palette, it feels very 3 dimensional and the flesh has a very cool rendering. Your skill is top, and I feel that I learn a lot from your stuff.
I am a bit perplexed bout the composition though. Myself am a fan of big graphical elements in the BG, but they have to serve a purpose either by telling a story related to the character or guide the viewers eye. I am not sure what story this pic tells.
One last thing is it PS or Painter?

I love this one!
Such a simple concept, but yet so complex! I love the letters on the sides, and especially those weird looking squares? How did you make those squares? I kinda have an idea, but how did "you" make them?
*goes back to staring*

haunting. You have remarkable skill.
It would have worked well for DSG|EU 21 topic blind. There were a few stares. Is this a sketchbook page too or is it digital?

hey thanks everyone.
miasmak: heh, its a small light pencil sketch scanned and worked between painter 6 and ps7.
i.was.ink: the "squares" are a flick of a broken glass door that i took one day on my way to work. i overlayed it as a multiply layer in ps. also overlayed is a scan of dirty scotch tape, also applied as multiply layer. quick and easy, as is the nature of digital art.
R_M: this is the inside back of a cd layout i did a while back. this image sits behind the cd, which is why the composition is very static. i wanted him hiding behind the cd...
thanks again to all who replied. i had a lot of fun with this image.
