really quite beautiful. only crit is the shafts of light are at awkward angles and need to run parallel to each other. keep it up :)

what great diffusion...your grading has perfectly progressive and slowly changing temperate feeling - it makes your painting feel like each stroke was mixed just for that particular latitude relative to the light source...awesome! i love the chain and helmet!

i was wondering of this is for a book because it seems like there is a lot of space near the top portion of the piece...maybe room for a text block???

thanks for sharing!

WOW, great painting. I like figures and the light and everything. Maybe you could do the background less definited, I mean the three behind the two guys, and also threes behind all. Only to give to monster and the fairy more impression. and maybe also the leg of the fairy is a litte bit too much big for a fairy...but: who know really a fairy?! ;)
Good good good work! I'd like to do simil work in tradional medium!

If this is traditional, I will start to paint with acrylic over monitor (it isn't mine he he)

Great atmosphere, my take on it, just because I would add a little bit of bright orange on some of the edges or key points just to pop a few things the dominant green variation is great though.

Nice to see this one finished! Was this started for Master and Slave? Think I saw you working on the roughs?

to all that think this is a traditional. IT IS NOT. It is a digital painting done in photoshop. with TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES. I dont want this to get all confused and have people think that im fakin the funk. so Ya kat this was for the master and servant over at CGtalk. if you go there you can see its progression from start to finish. It is also in my sketch book the thread to that is below.

damn Magnetic! I particularly like the giant in the background and the coloring of his muscles. Plus the lantern is very well painted too. Good job! This is off the hinges!

Gabe I'm glad to see this finished. Yo this is hella sick, only crit i got is that some parts are way too dark, almost to black, unless it's my monitor setting, other than that it actually works with your style.

wow this looks really great.

only complaint is he has no genatalia. Not that I like it mind you, but it is really blurry around "that area" and you could get away with a little more definition, more darks and less blurs maybe. the blurryness is starkly contrasted by his hands. so yeah, genitals.

or a loin cloth.
