Posting a little early never hurt nobody, right?... Don't think so, at least.
Here's one that a lot of us will gladly tackle, I think:

Woo! Mechs! I can do this and get the Angels Fall First concept work done in one day. Bonus points to whoever suggested this.

Too big? I can crop it, although it loads fine today.
A challenging theme for me, I'm not used to drawing these kind of things.
The mechanical arms and that gatling gun are out of proportion (hard to fix now) and I think the design might suck.
Does this one also lack scale? And that sig is placed bad, no?
It's 1h15 in Painter, but I'm willing to correct it a bit later (I'll also comment on the others later, no time right now).
I like the damage mainly.

The only thing that can easily navigate on the very rocky surface of Telmor III is the legged assault unit. These LAU's however, are quite fragile and once the legs are damaged, pulling them out can be a logistic nightmare.
Painter as usual, quick job - 45 min?

I've never drawn any mechs. Here I also started to sketch straight in Photoshop (I usually do some drawing with pencil, then scan it and do colouring on computer).

First DSG--Thought I'd give this a try. Not a lot of detail on the mech, but then I don't think I've drawn a mech before.
Photoshop--maybe half an hour.

def a harder topic today, for me at least considering i dont draw mech's , i should start tho.
PGC - I like where you were going, I think you need to pay attention to values and shading.
NKunleashed - interesting idea, your mechs are cool :D
Hideyoshi - I like this. Reminds me of starwars for some reason, the mech isnt exactly clearly displayed but i think its nice that way.
FlameRaven - we almost had the same idea :D great minds think alike hehe, gj
machzero - Cool mechsm the gun is friggin sweet and your characters in the foreground were done very well.
Cybot Floor - Your bot is neat but it doesnt seem like its going home :p
Farvus - Cool stylem the foot seems heavy like its running maybe. i like the motion.
Hamsta - I think ur characters are too small. and as for the mountains you should have used some references. the color scheme is nice though.
Jakub Sudra - Can anyone say robocop 4? :D your signiture is sweet and ur bot rox.
Johannes - interesting idea, makes me think of war of the worlds.
CrazyHarij - I really like your mech, its beleiveable
Eriboss - The background is distracting but the forum is nice.
Dodge - i like the way you draw, lovely! :D

thanks :)
i know, i kind of missed the topic :/ While working on it, i forgot "home". My idea was a biomech (instectoid) going to biomech-heaven after the (lost) battle or somethin like that...

Sunny I realize I have a dimensions problem with my pic.
Your pic is kind of static, I don't like the design of the much. The sky and those trees are nice, as well as the color palette. Why is it so small?

Dodge I'm not a big fan of this. The mech design is boring and I can't see a thing in this picture that would really appeal to me. The mood of the picture is ok, but that's it. I guess your time limit was the problem. It's a pity.
Eriboss I like the full one better. I'm not much into the mech stuff, but as from what I know this one looks quite standard. But the concept is good and the style is ok. Nicely done, esp. as for 45min.
CrazyHarij Eh... It's really a shame that nobody had enought time for this theme... I can't say to much about this one. My favourite part is the mech in the left and the people. There, this sketchy style is well applied. Design is not bad, but the one in the back is too Star Wars too me.
Johannes Concept is nice, with epic scale, but the painting style is too raw and messy. OK, as for pespective study...
Hamsta Too small and really hard to tell what's going on...
Farvus Original design, which is good (though I don't know if such a construction would allow the mech to move). The background is ok (my piece lacks it), sets the mood.
Cybot Floor I can't figure out the construction, but there's something cool in this drawing.
machzero I like these mechs. I think this might be the best mech design here.
FlameRaven The concept is ok, but you spent too little time on it!
Hideyoshi Something's cool here, a real shame that you didn't have more time. Nice colours.
NKunleashed Nice idea, but these mechs don't look metal enough for me.
Sunny Well painted, I like especially the city. Colours are also good. A rather nice one. (thanks, I love my signature. But robocop 4?)
PGC Doesn't look like you've spent much time on it. Lacks detail, more definition, darker parts. Concept is fine.
Angrymikko Nice scale, but doesn't look at all like a mech to me.
goran Very very cool. The details, colours, design, background, composition, all seem good to me. one thing - I'm not an expert, but that's no mech. Anyway, how much time was it?

Jakub Some anatomy problems, bad choices in which parts overlap, not really clear what's going on with the arms, I thought that's a vulcan - but I wasn't sure. I agree with you about the sig, it attracts to much attention away from the main piece.
Nice use of textures

I want to continue working on it though.
