k.. heres the first part of the inking process

since i am using illustrator, it takes some time, but itīs much more forgiving, and i like the clean looks.

Hey Fozzy!

yeah! itīs probably not cartoony enough, but i wanted to change that while coloring the whole thing...

I am not really sure about thos little spine balls, and the more i look at it, the more i think it needs some diffrent linework in that area...
Iīll sleep over it and look at it with fresh eyes

c&c ist very welcome

I assure you that you'll get much more feedback, when you post a sketch of the whole body. The majority of the members who viewed your thread think "Hmmm...what shall i crit, there is not much to see, it's a WIP with no starting point for crits..."...that's what i thought at least....thx anyway for this crazy pig-pic....haha, pig-pic...haha, got it?....i mean....ah, shut up!

Fozzy you are right...

but i am just too lazy to do that body right now.
Instead of that, i thoght, iīll just do the head part and color it. Doesnīt look too cartoony anyways.

Well, here we go.

Just a WIP coloring. iīll add details an background later... if i am not too lazy that is!

Hi there!

well, Dragon. I actually did not use any pen for inking.

I used a program calle Adobe Illustrator, which is vector based.

I am not really good at inking, so this program is the better choice for me, until i am good enough to ink these pics by pen.

Since it is a computer program, it is much more fogiving, and alows you to "try out" till you reach the look you was going for.

The mein flaw is the time you need to "ink" a picture.
Just that picture you see up above took me 40 - 60 minutes for inking.

Hope it was of any use to you.

I really need help with those eyes...
I came this far, and am pretty happy with this image so far. Despite the fact, that i was too lazy to finish the body!

The problem is... I just canīt get those eyes straight...
Iīd really appreciate some input
