im suprised no ones commented on this yet. spose everyones a little Star War'sed out :\ very nice pieces good detail. youve nailed the likenesses well. really nice shading style, it shows youve got a good sense of lighting (altho.. you coulda read that right off the ref pics haha). no, really, its good. perhaps some full body shots and/or dynamic poses (action shots) are in order? well done, keep up the effort :D

Man, I hope we're not Star Wars'ed out, 'stoph; the movie opened yesterday and I haven't seen it yet!
I like these. They have some sweet rendering and show some very nice value variation. Nice.

gosh I can't believe there are so many star war fan art going around b/c of the movie. Although this is a very beautiful piece, I won't mind seeeing more of these around.
The detail and shadings are beautiful.

You have a very soft hand with that wookie fur - I've seen wookies go horribly wrong in the past, so kudos to you!
Grievous is looking excellent as well! Are you using col-erase pencils for your sketches?

Yep, I've been doing almost all of my pencilling with the Col-erase pencils lately.
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully I'll have time for something more dynamic in the near future.

Grievous can be EXTREMELY dynamic even for a robot. Actually all about him makes it feline and fluid even if he's made of sleek hard surfaces (well besides for his innards of course ;) ).
My only crit is the perspective in Grievous face. Be carefull with the angle of his -uh "ears" thingies. The chin area and top of the head seem to need tweaking as well. Since he's a machine and is supposed to be absolutely symetrycal, perspective flaws jump out when it's often the case for robots :( You can't get away with it. Anyhoo, very nice fan art.
