Just wanted to get some feed back on this. With the lack of other people to feed off of (such as a class) I've kind of had to come up with my own way of practicing life drawing. I've been bouncing around the net picking up pictures of people. What I'll do is sit down and draw the picture as fast as I can while not looking at the paper. I just tend to do circles right now because I need alot of work on perportion and perspective. I keep thinking if I can train my hand better, I'll be... better.

Am I way off base or headed in the right direction. The people here are the only input I get about this so I apreciate the replys.

:)

What do you hope to gain by doing this? And do you think that it's working?

It's a good idea, but you should try and supplement it with drawing from life. If you can, go to a life drawing class and learn what you can there, otherwise try going to a cafe and drawing the people there. What your trying is good though, blind drawing is something which is really useful whe learning. I'd recommend trying to do it from life though, as well as experimenting with a few other methods

so yeah, what you're doing is good but there's a limit to what you can do with photographs
