Star wars - femme fatale

Well, I was just shown here by someone on Gaia Online, and I have to admit it's a bit intimidating to post what I have with all the talent here! ^^; I hope that getting some critique and advice will help me to improve on my art.

Done for a Private Exchange on Deviantart, the theme was Star Wars. I'm not a huge fan, and my partner asked for someone with a lightsaber. I used a photo reference for the body and http://www.parksabers.com/rogue.html for the lightsaber.

Something looks off to me, but I can't really put my finger on it... :/

Ah, a lightsaber! She doesnt look like she's grabbing it really - it looks more like it floats in the air and she has her arms around it to protect it from the wind, like you would with your lighter while lighting a cigarette. Her ass should be almost twice as wide.. Normally girls have wider hips than shoulders.

I like the face and hair. There's something about the style of the face that really pushes my right buttons. Lovely! (even tho you could probably loose the dot on the tip of her nose.) The highlight from the lighsaber could be a bit more prominent, it doesnt make sense that the saber lights up the front of her hair exactly as much as it does the knot in the back of her hair, wich is much farther away from the saber.

Enough nitpicking. Keep drawing and keep posting!

It doesn't give me the impression of "Femme Fatale" and if she's just relaxing, I can't see a jedi just sitting around playing with a lightsaber(no pun intended). Give us a more striking pose and setting.

Nice work! The only comment I have is that her collar bone seems to be too far down on her chest.
