Because of humans' slow reproductive rate and long generation cycle, they would have to adapt with technology rather than evolution, at least for the first few thousand years. So, yah...it's an anti-flame costume, shamelessly ripping style from Laura Pelick's art ( www.fallenlights.net - she rules.)

Well.
I liked it before I started messing with the background and pathetic colors. C&C, please. Second try with Painter, getting used to what it can do for me... I don't know. Bleh.

First DSG attempt...
This took me the full 90mins...I wanted to scan it then give it some color in photoshop but...I never knew 90mins was such a short amount of time...
Anyhow this is all about invisible force feilds if you can tell...
http://image1ex.villagephotos.com/1825721.jpg
speed scanning and formatting beat it up alittle...

The abdomen is a giant, fully-functioning mining colony. It uses legs to keep moving and avoid heating up and to deal with ever changing lava terrain. Workers inside the legs must constantly repair the damage... it is hot, cramped, dangerous, thankless work. Many are talking revolt, but, where would they go...?

In a world of lava and flame, all the chicks would have permanant tans and perms in thier hair; plus they would wear revealing cloths...that would be hot.
and I'm so happy with the way this one came out! i got carried away...2 hours.
