I've currently taken 2 Semesters of Maya. I consider myself a very good sketch artist.

I like your style. Are you still looking for work? If so, would you be willing to relocate? I work at a video game company in Orlando, FL and we're looking for a solid concept artist at the moment.

Everything that is shown above is done within a 4 to 8 hour period,
except for the first storyboard with the women holding the gun.

Comic book storyboards take more concentration....because it requires thinking in terms of quality of line and style in multiple frames.....if you remove the ink and color, then that storyboard took 8 hours.

My coloring style is very simple and is not that time consuming, but of course the more detail you want the more time is consumed. One of the detailed character drawings with color took about 8 to 12 hours, with color.

generally, all 'sketches' are done within a 4 to 8 hour period....most are less then 4 hours.

If you require 40 panels of art within a week:
As long as this quality is acceptable, then it can be done.

Keep in mind a comic book artist gets a $150 a page for about 5 panels per page.......I know some film storyboard artists get $ 1000's of dollars per page, but they draw in terms of photorealism. I'm trying to approach that kind of style.

I live in San Diego North County. I commute to Santa Monica on Saturdays for a class.

I've been getting some attention lately, so I decided I better show a few sketches to keep the momentum going.........and they are just sketches.

Basically, I use Pilot Ball Point pens, standard squeeze tube of white out and a light table.....with a computer, scanner and printer....and photoshop.

I sketch an idea and incrementally improve upon it.

I draw everything will ball point pen.

If the concepting thing goes to pot, I'll do animation at some point:

Here's a little art dump. These are all 3 hour workshops done on
17x12 Copy Paper using Grey Cool Prisma Color and Black Ball Point Pen.
And a white out pen.

Like I said, Sketch Artist.
