Hi,

There are a lot of basic tutorials on my PixelAlley site that you can easily translate for use in Painter IX. The URL is below my signature. Be sure to look in all of the sections at PixelAlley as there are brief descriptions and demos as well as full tutorials scattered throughout the site.

Also, you'll find some good tutorials written for Painter 8 on the Corel site at:

Corel Painter 8 Tutorials (http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel2/Products/Content&pid=1047022702185&cid=1047022737328)

Another place to find some good tutorials is in the Corel Painter IX monthly newsletter, The Painter Canvas. Previous issues are linked on this page:

The Painter Canvas - Previous Issues (http://www.corel.com/painterix/community/newsletter.html)

The current, April 2005 issue can be found at:

The Painter Canvas - April 2005 Issue (http://www.corel.com/painterix/community/newsletter/2005-04/index.html)

When I open enrollment for new Painter classes at my other site (message board), TutorAlley Forums, I'll be happy to let you know. Just e-mail me at jinbrown@pixelalley.com to let me know you'd like to be notified.

Currently, TutorAlley Forums is not taking new "walk in" registrations, but when that changes, you'll see "again open for new registrations" in my signature.
