Hi all,
I'm really happy with myself right now - I've found my old "style" back (I haven't really done any drawing since I was 18 and that's 7 years ago - argh!)...
For me it's a big improvement on the stuff I did last month (go look it up if you want...). But what do you guys think?

whoa! a 7 year gap! im glad i dont know you in person. if you are going to get back into drawing i dont want to be near you when you get begin to get frusterated and cranky, which i would think would be expected. good luck in your progression! i feel this is the place to be if you are looking to learn, you have lots of talent and inspiration all around you here on these boards.

hah, you've got a point there, killing... Forum-complaints don't come across quite as intensely as live ones, do they ;)
actually, it's these boards that got me started again. concept art is something i've always been into, only i didn't know there was a word for it :( ; it being a nonexistant profession in tiny Belgium...
cheers

Check out the "Middle Class" thread in the life drawing section. We are learning the classical way (cast drawings...master's copies...etc...) We have a curriculum posted. It will help you regain your skills faster. Check it out.

Thanks MCM. I checked out the Middle Class threads and I guess I might just get myself onto that curriculum. However, I'm not sure whether I'll be able to free that much time (darn wedding!)
by the way, referring me to the middle class thread is a really nice compliment (middle class meaning "not a noobie any more"?)... thanks - you just made my day!

Anytime ;)
Feel free to pop in and out. Obviously the more you do the better you will become and quicker but don't hesitate to pop in and out if you want. Be prepared for bold faced criticism though hehe...we don't mince words over there. Take care.
