Kermit the Frog

Hi all,
This is my first post on this killer site. I was recently looking threw previous work here and stumbled upon the character redesign challenge. Seeing Sean McNally's Muppet babies of Kermit and Piggy inspired me to work on some Half-Life 2 models of them (with Sean's permission of course).

This is the first of the two models thought it might be nice to share and get some feedback from you all.

If anyone has any experience with getting characters into hammer I would love the help.

It looks pretty good. His face seems to lack some specularity compared to his limbs though.

I am working on tweaking the spec map now.

that looks great man, very respectful of the concept art... any internal mouth stuff going on? IE: Frog tongue? Strike a pose with this guy! GJ.

Thats a really nice compiment because that was a big focus for me.

I am working the mouth inside out now and painting teeth so the long short of it is yes there will be full mouth expressions.

Actually its a little known fact that there is a rare breed of frog men that carry guns and commit heinous crimes. They are feared because of their very sharp teeth, despite their overwhelming cuteness.
