Hi, I was just wondering...
how long do you "incubate" your works so to speak?
Like when you're stumped/indecisive about composition, how long do you separate yourself from your work so as to get a fresh, objective look at it later?

Normaly about 15 minutes, thats the time it takes for me to pick up a Red Bull at the shop across the street, smoke a cigarette on the way back and have a quick check at CA for instant inspiration when I get back.
Sometimes I obviously need to let it "incubate" a bit longer, but I'm always afraid that I will lose the love for the image if I let it rest for too long, so generally I try to take as few and as short breakes as possible.

Hell, I have stuff sitting half colored on my harddrive that may wait for months before I get inspired enough to work on them.
