Teen Challenge!

For all the teens here who, like me, are motivated by seeing other's work who are near their age. Let's fight for our spot in the future, huh?

For a challenge, I was thinking of Illustrating in any way, traditional pen/ink, digital, or whatever. Maybe these circumstances could be changed later though. I would prefer the competitors to be at least 13, and no more than early 20. Like, if you turned 20 this year, I'd say you could still be in.

Anyways, the topic. I want to keep it very open, because alot of us have different tastes. I want to take some suggestions first, but if you are going to compete, be fair and suggest something you have had little to no experience with, so it's fair all around.

I was thinking something robotic, or with alot of detail. Or instead of a specific subject, a mood, for example, if the subject was (Modern) Gothic Chick, do some over stylized caricture of what society considers a modern gothic kid. Or you could have something dramatic,a nd blah blah blah. Screw it, let's get some suggestions, huh?

Maybe we should do this like a thunderdome?
One main topic, or we could do it so that each person and their opponent chooses the topic. People post in or PM the organizer who theyre going against. We could have people post here to so we could add them to some kind of a list to be challenged. something like that. Id love to help out if you want.

I'm all for the main topic that we all do. How about something braoder than a goth robot chick though... I just thoguht up a good one. Let's do "The next big sport" Which can be something modern, futuristic, or whatever. It could be a pic of the last of the Maya peoples playing a sport. Anwyays, I'm still open to suggestions.

The Next big Sport!!!!

IDEA
Create a new sport, either modern or futuristic, or even maybe a lost civilization. Be creative! Use Blitzball as an example. Doesn't have to involve the word 'Ball' either.

DETAILS
Let's go for at least 2 Uniform shots, maybe a referee shot, and a stadium shot.

This can be done in any medium, and color scale.

It can be in any style, sequential art (A comic) or maybe just one big piece. Whatever! Potray it the best you can.

800x600 at most, and Im sure you guys have enough common sense as to not post some smal piece of art, right?

Deadline, May -1st to May -27th Please think very hard about this. Thinking up a unique sport isn't going to be easy. Don't jsut mix 2 together, do somehting completley different!

Heheh, what's your point? And I think I ahve one possible judge- My drawing teacher who comes to these boards, he's very professional, but that would be up to you guys t decide if he'd be fair. He got a BFA at ringling and all that.

Mr North, I really like your drawing, I don't think I drew as well as that as a teen. One tip for you (especially since there's a hand in close up): Most people have fingers that are as long as the palm of their hands (and their palm is about as wide as it's long.)

Yes. It does. I'll make sure to do another one, because I was hoping more would sign up. I simply didnt do mine beacause I had to go to work with my mom all day, and couldnt stay up late. I had my idea though, but damn me for making excuses. Let's just let this die.

Oh and congrats too, I likethe suit design. Some of the poses seem a bit wonky, and I think you could have done more with the Photoshop. BUt congrats =D
