Hi All...

Where do you all showcase your work? I would like to target the children's publishing / animation sector. www.childrensillustrators.com looks like a good option for me (I received a few printed promotional cards from them and some newsletters) - do any of you have a showcase with them? I have also looked at source books (offline / printed) but they are VERY expensive.

hey , thanks for the info . I'm also interested in the same field. But so far what I heard, the best way to showcase your work is sending portfolios to the publishers , or get an agent. There's also a book "Children's writers and illustrators market" , which is really good , it's got good advice on how to get into the field. Have you checked www.scbwi.org ? Anyway , that's so far I know , but I would love to keep in contact with you , for advice or feedback.
