Complete2:
Why not post an environment challenge? Any takers can post an environment sketch/painting/etc and you can posts questions as to the execution of the various entries. Another way to challenge yourself; pick up a book, any work of fiction, historical, read a few paragraphs that detail the setting, post those paragraphs along with your interpretation of the setting for critiques. If you post a challenge, I will at least toss in a couple of environmental pieces to try to help out.

Hope I was of some help,

Anyone in if I throw down a few options, say 4 different environments? I can come up with four paragraphs. Complete2, if you have a particular environment/setting you are having trouble with, please mention it, and I will add it in.

Might I also recommend "Perspective! for Comic Book Arists," by David Chelsea? A good primer on not only environments, but having your characters placed within them.

It will be remedial reading for many, but IMHO his McCloud-like approach is very effective. Good refresher material.

Never hurts to get back to the basics,
